Getting started

First things first: You need a Spotify Premium account to use Car Thing. From there, setup is simple. If you can currently play music in your car with your phone, you'll be able to do it easily with Car Thing, too.

Setting it up

Connect Car Thing to power

Use the cable and power adapter to connect the device to a 12V power outlet.

Connect phone to Car Thing

Connect your phone to Car Thing via Bluetooth in your phone’s settings.

Connect phone to car stereo

Connect your phone to your car stereo via Bluetooth settings in your car, AUX or USB cable.

Where to put Car Thing

Car Thing comes with three different mounts, making it easy to find a home for it in your car. And the mounts are built with a magnet, so you can always take Car Thing with you, and the mount will stay put.
